A-level Business Studies

In my experience I have found that there is a very big jump from GCSE's to A Level's. Pupils have a lot of help in preparing for GCSE's from their subject teachers. However, some pupils really struggle once they begin their A Levels (whether that is AS/A2 Business Studies or Vocational).

We as teachers and parents expect our pupils/children to automatically know how to produce excellent pieces of coursework or perform to A* standard during module examinations. However, this may not come naturally to pupils and they may feel daunted by the whole 6th form experience.

This is the time that you can call upon a tutor to help coach pupils for thinking in an A Level manner and allowing them to develop the skills needed to succeed without feeling overwhelmed. This will help build self confidence and allow pupils to achieve excellent results for their chosen qualification.
