I use for teaching Czech as a main text book material written by Jan Holub: "Czech for beginners". it is older material that gives a fairly good explanation of the Czech grammar to an English national. Holub's course has 18 units that are rather "dense" so you reach an upper intermediate level at the end.
I also use a book by Parolkova-Novakova: "Czech for foreigners" that is a more communicative course that consist of 10 units and at the end you achieve lower intermediate level. This book is accompanied by a tape.
I combine both of these materials.
I have many other materials and a very good Reader.
