Jazz Trumpet

From the experience I have of my past teachers, it has given me a list of do's and don'ts. I know for a fact that I almost gave up when i was 10 because the lessons were boring and uninteresting. It's so important for children to try and find their forte, whether it be music, sport or anything! But whatever it is it has to be handled with care.

That's why I believe I have a solid method and approach to teaching trumpet. With each student comes significant alterations depending on the needs of the individual. Younger pupils need a more focused practice schedule that isn't going to get in the way of school and friends.

Older students need to avoid problems with work and of course being social. If the balance isn't right, and the material isn't suited then it's not going to last.
