If you're interested in and willing to learn more about this fascinating area of research and technology known as electronics, all you need is an eagerness to learn and a bit of a background in physics and mathematics. I would recommend those with a poor background in either mathematics or phsyics to start gaining some background into those areas before entering serious work in electronics - or you would at some point be hurt by your failure in analysing things. It shouldn't take you very long to grasp the maths and physics fundamentals required as a fresher in electronics, but once you have obtained that general knowledge your path towards becoming a successful electronics engineer would be much much smoother.
