Viola

When learning and instrument, whether it's the violin or the ukelele, I believe it's very important to have a source of inspiration so that when practising becomes a struggle or you feel on the verge of giving up you can hear something that makes you determined to continue.

Going to concerts is a great way to find inspiration for one's own practice but even CD's can sometimes offer a much needed source of inspiration.

For me, at the moment, I am listening with awe and wonder to the complete Beethoven String Quartet cycle by the Alban Berg Quartet and praying that some day that will be me on the record!
