About James
- What kind of experience do you have?
I was in Seville in Spain until recently where I taught English privately.
I had some students that were children and some adults. Some were doing exams and needed specific help with the First Certificate, some were presenting at a conference in English, some needed help with their C.V and others wanted to improve their general English to help them in a jobs market where English is becoming a standard requirement.
I have a strong belief that improving a students speaking and listening helps them to learn faster in their own time. I also think that a student has to be encouraged to do things that are different and new. Sitting down for two hours is o.k, but not all the time, therefore changing the learning environment and how the learning is done is very important. For this reason I am always looking to try new things.

I am a cheerful fun person who really enjoys teaching and seeing my students succeed. I teach online using Skype or face-to-face. I have experience of teaching students of different nationalities. I speak very good Spanish and French.

I am very proud about my work and I feel like teaching comes to me naturally. I truly enjoy having fun in a class. I think that one constant part of my classes is humour which I think helps to create a bond with the student and improve their learning experience.
