Matthew - Mile End - Politics

Matthew is doing a great job. His lessons are stimulating, structured and tailored to meet my sons needs. I can see the difference already in the way my son tackles his English homework. He feels more confident and has a widening range of knowledge and skills to draw on. His school must also be impressed as he has just been predicted an A* in his English GCSE! I would highly recommend Matthew as a first rate tutor.

I honestly only have positive things to say. The lessons are always stimulating and most importantly all the information is well explained. My AS exams have improved a huge amount since our lessons began. He has a wide range of politics knowledge, which is excellent as it allows for detailed answers for any questions I may have. He's also a really approachable guy and provides an atmosphere during the lessons in which questions and debates are welcomed which makes for stimulating work.

My son has gained more confidence in his essay writing since having tutoring with Matthew. I'm very pleased with Matthew's teaching approach.

Even though I have high expectations for my work, Matthew pushed the standard of my work up to beyond what I could have imagined. His detailed notes ensured my essay structure was as effective and comprehensible as possible. He even stretched my understanding of the subject, recommending other philosophers and theories to enrich my essays. Matthew also answered every question I e-mailed him with incredible speed!
