About Alice
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a working actress since the age of 11, having played a lead role in feature film 'The Cement Garden', the screen adaptation of Ian McEwen's book. Since then I have had extensive work in theatre and on screen, including 2 years playing a lead role in ITV's Emmerdale, which gave me the experience of being in front of camera every day, and therefore great understanding of the technical process of screen acting. I am currently between seasons on American series 'The Last Ship', being made by Hollywood producer Michael Bay, for TNT network.

I have had a CRB check and can provide evidence if necessary.

I have 20 years professional acting experience, including a recurring role in Michael Bay's new series for TNT in the USA, 'The Last Ship'. I love teaching acting, so please do get in touch!
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I am an acting coach, with particular focus on preparation for auditions. Screen auditions- breaking down the screen audition into easier to understand elements. What key things you need to focus on and how style should be adapted. Also drama school and theatre auditions- how to bring a text to life, confidence, and scene study.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
My BA in English Literature has enabled me to look at text in a thorough, analytical sense, getting to the crux of a scene, and working outwards through performance. My MA in Acting from Mountview was a fantastic training ground in all elements of performance on a very high practical and academic level, and allowed me the ability to work with voice and movement in a more educated way.
- How much do you charge?
1 hour sessions £30 if you come to me, 2 hr sessions £50. £40 per hour for me to come to you, £60 for 2 hrs. If you would like to me to rent rehearsal space elsewhere, that cost will be on top of standard fees and varies depending on venue. I will do discounted rates for pairs or small groups, please contact me to discuss.
- Where do you teach?
At my home, in Stoke Newington, at The Actor's Centre, in Covent Garden, and at pupils homes. I am willing to travel most places in North London, East London, West London and South London.
- When are you available?
I am available at varying times on most days and some evenings. Please contact me to discuss.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach any age and level, as long as the student feels my skills and experience are appropriate for their needs.
