- Personal Message
- I am currently a violin scholar at the Royal College of Music and a highly experienced teacher that offers enjoyable and productive violin lessons.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- Violin, Chamber Music and Aural Skills
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have graduated from Chetham's School of Music in Manchester and I am currently completing a Bachelor of Music at the Royal College of Music in London.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching the violin for 4 years. I am particularly experienced in working with children, as I find it easy to get on with them. I have collaborated with the outreach group "Impulse" from the Purcell School of Music, which works with children from primary schools and encourages them to participate in musical activities. As both my parents are violin professors themselves, I have been involved in this world since I was very little and I have a very high knowledge of the methods of teaching.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £25 for 1 hour of individual tuition. Lessons of 30 and 45 minutes are also available.
- Where do you teach?
- I live in the Shepherd's Bush area. The nearest tube stations are Shepherd's Bush (Central Line), Goldhawk Road (Hammersmith and City Line) or Ravenscourt Park (District Line). I also travel anywhere within zones 1 and 2 without any additional charge.
- When are you available?
- I am generally quite flexible and I can adapt to students needs.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach the violin to people of different levels (from complete beginners to advanced) and of all kind of ages.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- ABRSM Exams
Trinity/Guildhall Exams - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- No
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I have graduated from Chetham's School of Music in Manchester under the tuition of Professor Jan Repko, with whom I currently study at the Royal College of Music in London.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I have a class of pupils that have passed ABRSM exams with distinctions and merits. I create ensembles within them and other instruments ( with the collaboration of students of my colleagues) and organize concerts for them so they get used to performing in front of an audience and they learn to control their stage fright.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I try to make the lessons enjoyable and fun, as well as productive. My aim is to help my students improve their technique and musicality, as well as keep them motivated. Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like studying each case individually and preparing for each lesson beforehand. I always suggest to my students that they go through a varied repertoire, as well as the usual scales and studies.

Why learn the violin?
Learning how to play the violin is a very challenging but rewarding experience that can be a lot of fun if it is properly approached. It is not as hard as it looks; all you need is motivation. Playing an instrument can be an amazing skill for a child to learn, especially if they start at an early age and they continue their study throughout...
