- Angela is the only certified Speech level singing tutor in Wales working with signed and unsigned bands, music theatre, pop, classical to opera, and performance/auditions.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach all aspects of vocal and performance coaching for singing and work with solo businesss people on all aspects of their speaking, presentation and talks..
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I began my musical career as a teenager before spending 4 years as a sound engineer in a top Cardiff recording studio. I gained a performers diploma from the Welsh College of Music and Drama and have spent the last 15 years experience as a singer and teacher. I constantly update my skills and am certified to teach the highly respected contemporary method of Speech Level singing. I am currently the only speech level singing tutor in training in Wales.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- 20 years as a singer and over 10 yrs as a voice coach. 3 years as a sound engineer for a Cardiff recording studio and 6 years as the voice coach on the pop music degree course for the University of Glamorgan.
- How much do you charge?
- £45 per hour, £30 per 30 mins
Juniors 8-12 £20 per 30 mins
block bookings 5 x 1 hr = £200
junior block 6 x 30 min =£108

- I teach from home in St Mellons, Cardiff.
- When are you available?
- Available Tue,Thur-Sat 11am-9pm other days by arrangement only.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- 8 yrs plus, beginners to advanced. Solo artists, bands, choirs, opera, classical, rock, pop and musical theatre.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- No student is forced down the road of exams unless they want to add exams to their learning and CV. We look to prepare the person for whatever their singing aspirations are be that amateur or professional and link them in with a network of people including record labels who can help.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.

- Lessons can be arranged via skype as well as on-line mentoring packages available.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
- I belong to the Incorporated Society of Musicians and have full public liability insurance.

- I have worked with Alex Pennie from the Automatic, Liz Hunt lead singer with the pop group The School, many up and coming Welsh bands, Jamie Pugh from Britain's Got Talent, Kash from X-factor as well as many amazing singers two of whom have reached semi-finals of Open Mic Uk 2010. I am currently working with classical crossover artist Annelies who is currently signed to the Spice girls Management. But don't just assume it's all the top people! I have a bank of over 100 students ranging from 8-69 yrs and many beginners and singers who have had lessons previously but couldn't find a teacher who was able to get results.

- Your voice is as unique as you are, so whether it's dealing with serious vocal issues like nodules or understanding your voice as well as developing a solid technique for whatever singing you want to do, then I can help you put it all in place so that you can move forward.
