About Anne
- What kind of experience do you have?
I currently work as an English language tutor - teaching children and adults from overseas who are studying or working in the UK. I also teach ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) to groups of adults in a community project in Manchester.
I'm experienced in teaching people with little or no knowledge of English who need to master the basic skills, as well as those who've already learned some English in their native country and now want to improve their knowledge.
Before starting my teaching career, I held a number of senior marketing and communications roles both overseas and in the UK. I am a highly experienced writer, editor and proofreader.

I'm a fully qualified and experienced EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher. I teach individuals and small groups - both adults and children - privately at my home in Sale.
Whether you are a complete beginner or you want to improve your English and gain more confidence, I can help you.
I'm a BA Honours graduate in Modern Languages (French and German) and I speak both languages fluently, having lived and worked for several years in both countries. My international experience has given me a good understanding of other cultures and languages and the ability to connect with people from all over the world.

Cambridge TEFL Certificate in TEFL and TESOL (Distinction)
Institute of Linguists (IoL) Final Diploma in French and German

- How much do you charge?
£20 per hour. I charge travel expenses if applicable.
- Where do you teach?
I generally teach from my home, but am happy to travel to students' homes within a ten mile radius of Sale, Greater Manchester.
- When are you available?
I am available some weekdays, evenings and weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students of all ages, nationalities and abilities, including primary, secondary and adult/ casual learners.
