GCSE A level Maths Tutor Bournemouth - Barney

Barney is an amazing maths tutor. You cannot help but be inspired by Barney's enthusiasm and energy, which are infectious and tremendously motivating. Not only did Barney give Tom the skills and confidence to pass his exams, which meant that he got a place at Amsterdam University, but he also made Tom's lessons interesting; he actually enjoyed doing maths at 8pm on a weekday night!

After speaking to Barney we have never looked back! He has a great method of teaching, with a kind nature and positive approach. Charlotte's confidence has increased dramatically thanks to Barney and she has now gone on to study 'A' level Maths at sixth Form.

My University course requires a heavy understanding of maths ranging from matrices, algebra, trigonometry, set theory, vectors etc. Not only was Barney able to get me from a GCSE level of understanding of maths to achieving a first (the highest grade) for my maths exam, but he was able to do so in a clear and concise way. I would also leave with great notes to review and revise with.

Sorry for the delay in sharing my news at passing my Maths Exam - Yay! Thankyou so much for your support, I couldn't have done it without you. Carrying the 'gremlins of maths' all my life, although I hate to admit - I actually started to enjoy it!

From the very start Barney made a difference - his positive approach and calm teaching style made our daughter feel comfortable and at ease, and within a few weeks we could already see a huge improvement. Our daughter passed her retake and achieved the 'C' grade needed for her to apply to University.

Let me say I really appreciate all your commitment with the maths sessions we've had, and more importantly the time you've put in outside of sessions to grasp the material. You've really helped me a lot these few years and for that I am very thankful.

Barney was the one who helped me achieve my goals in A-level maths. Sessions are always of the utmost quality, and you always leave with a giant sense of satisfaction. Even now at University, whenever I need any form of maths help, Barney is my first point of contact. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any of my friends, as I have already done in the past.

Thank you very much for the tutoring over the past year or so. Without it I am sure I would not have stood a chance at the seemingly impossible "1 Year A-Level" but now feel reassuringly confident of success!
