About Sophie
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have a number of students of all levels and abilities including those who are pursuing both ABRSM examinations and simply learning for enjoyment. Alongside my teaching work I have an active performing career which includes work with chamber groups, theatre shows, pop groups and session recordings. It is important to me that I use these experiences to enhance and inform my teaching.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to look at my profile! I am a London based musician and am always excited about the opportunity of taking on new students for enjoyable and rewarding lessons.

BMus (Hons) - Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
Grade 8 (ABRSM) - Cello
- How much do you charge?
My teaching rates are £20 per half hour and £30 per hour.
I offer half price consultation lessons.
- Where do you teach?
I am able to travel across London. I am based in Queens Park/NW6 with nearby locations including Kensal Rise, Brondesbury, Kilburn, Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue.
- When are you available?
I am flexible and can work out a time that suits us both.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students of all ages and abilities.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I am able to prepare students for all formal examinations but also teach those who just wish to learn for their own enjoyment.
