I am a professional singer and experienced teacher looking for new singers and singers with more experience wanting to improve their technique and increase their repertoire.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Classical and Popular singing styles as well as popular and folk Guitar.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have an undergraduate Bmus vocal studies degree from the Guildhall school of Music and Drama, Grade 8 singing, Grade 5 theory and Grade 6 rockschool guitar.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have had a number of private pupils as well as leading creative singing workshops in schools. As a singer I have sang with Holland park opera for the past three seasons and I perform extensively as a soloist for concerts and oratorios across the UK for societies such as cartmel choral society, east Sussex choral society and Chiltern chamber choir. I also organise my own concerts, mostly around london or at home in Cumbria and I am a member of the close harmony quartet, who have performed all around Britain. I play guitar and sing frequently around London as part of the folk bands Stingo and the Ceilidh factory.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 per hour, £20 for a consultation.
Where do you teach?
I can give lessons at home in Catford, south east London. I am also willing to travel to you, providing the travel expenses are covered.
When are you available?
I am free for lessons most days, except Sundays and Friday and Saturday evenings.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am willing to teach all ages.

I trained at the Guildhall school of music and drama with Ian Kennedy who sang with the BBC singers and Gilbert and Sullivan for all.
