- What kind of experience do you have?
I have much experience working with varying abilities: from young beginners to advance West End performers. I concentrate on vocal rehabilitation - ensuring you are producing the safest sound which gives you the best results.

I trained at The Royal Northern College of Music and specialised in Opera Performance and Vocal Pedagogy.

Musicians Union with Public Liability.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
Having worked as a professional singer in London for over 10 years and working as a tutor for nearly the same years, I have many students who work on London's West End.
Students have been in the following shows: Matilda (both youngsters and adults, notably Mrs T), Les Mis (first and second covers), Wicked (second covers and swings) to name but a few.
I also have a a large studio in London, where many of my students have performed at: Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera and Scottish Opera. Internationally many of them have enjoyed (along with myself) success further afield in Europe and the Far East.

I am a professional Opera Singer who has been working in the UK for over 10 years now. With a First Class Music Degree, Masters in Music and Post Graduate Diploma in Vocal Performance.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Voice - Most styles covered through classical techniques. My aim is to make singing as safe and easy as possible through good support and understanding of your vocal pedagogy. I also teach piano.

- Do you have a personal message for students?
I have performed most era's of music and on most major opera stages in the UK. Starting as a musical Theatre singer (and still having a huge interest - one my favourite past times) and slowly progressing to Opera Singing, I have performed in most styles.
I like to base my teaching on good vocal grounding through classical techniques. I have been teaching Piano and Voice to all ages for nearly 10 years now.
In the Youtube link, you will see me in a recent production of Turandot at the Coliseum at English National Opera.
It is important to me that my students enjoy their lessons, but also look forward and work hard towards their next lesson.
My aim as a teacher is to produce a friendly and fun environment. I am more than happy to help you go as far as you wish. If its for fun and enjoyment, this is great! But if you wish to be put in for ABRSM and other associated boards of Music exams (Grades 1-8), then this is also great too.
Rock, Classical, Folk, Pop, Opera, Soul and Gospel. I'm also a good pianist, and can provide accompaniment if so required.

Lessons start from £22.50 for a 30 min session - Basic Level (usually recommended for those under 16), £30 for those at a more Intermediate Level requiring a 45 min session and £40 for those at a more Advance Level requiring 1 hour. These cost are not stuck in stone, and advance block booking could result in a discount. Please mention if you would be interested in this in your initial request. PRICES are not set in stone and reflect a students level of performance, so please ask for further details.
Please Note: I teach privately at home in Oldbury weekdays and at my home and in Earlsfield at weekends. I also am a vocal tutor at Whitgift School and also Dodderhill School in Droitwich Spa. I have a valid DRB Certificate which is transferable and am a Member of the Musicians Union where I hold valid Public Liability Insurance.
