I am a teacher of violin and viola based in LS8, Leeds. I teach pupils of all ages and abilities.

Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Classical Violin and Viola.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Masters in Music (Mmus) from Canterbury Christ Church University, and a Post Graduate Diploma with Disctinction and Batchelor of Music Degree (Hons), both from the Royal College of Music.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have several years of experience of individual instrumental tuition, teaching both violin and viola to pupils of all ages and abilities. I also have experience of teaching strings and recorders to class groups for Cambridge-Education, Islington.

How much do you charge?
I charge £32 per hour.

Where do you teach?
I prefer to teach from home.

When are you available?
I am usually available on Mondays, but as a busy performing musician my schedule is flexible.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and levels up to Violin Grade 7 and Viola Grade 8 and above.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I am very happy to prepare students for their ABRSM practical and theory examinations.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes, I have a CRB disclosure certificate for Cambridge-Education Islington and for the teaching work I do at Belleville Primary School.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Incorporated Socieity of Musicians (ISM).

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Royal College of Music with Ivo-jan van der Werff of the Medici Quartet, and Jonathan Barritt of the English Chamber Orchestra. I also recieved specialist string quartet training from the Maggini Quartet at Canterbury Christ Church University.
