About Wayne
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching privately since 1995, also at several Colleges of Higher Eduaction
I am a working singer and have experience in performing both Opera, Classical Song and Jazz performance.
For a number of years i had a jazz quartet, in which i was the pianist, playing in numerous well known London venues.

I am an experienced, friendly and enthusiastic professionally trained singing teacher. My training incorporates a solid grounding in technique, as well as working on specific repertoire and building the students confidence.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Singing - Classical, Musical Theatre and other styles including Pop and Jazz.
Coaching to singing professionals and students of all levels.
I am also a capable pianist which is not only useful in lessons but I am also able to provide recorded accompaniments for both rehearsal and audition purposes.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I studied at Singing at both at the Guildhall School of Music and Trinity College of Music in London with Mollie Petrie, Morag Noble, Raimund Herincx and John Wakefield.
I have taken part in masterclasses with Roger Vignoles, Ian Partridge, Raimund Herincx, Martiyn Hill and Anthony Roden amongst others.
I now continue my studies in London with the Australian tenor, Anthony Roden.
Wayne has 20 years experience in teaching singing at all levels and in many styles.
His primary passion is opera and Classical singing but he is equally comfortable teaching Musical Theatre, Pop and Jazz.

Singing teaching & Voice coaching rates: £40 for 60-90mins
I also offer reduced rates for those on lower incomes
- Where do you teach?
I teach at home in West Kensington. Near to both West Kensington and West Brompton Tube stations
I am also happy to travel to surrounding areas Chelsea, Kings Road, Kensington & Chelsea, Fulham Broadway, Gloucester Road, South Kensington, Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Pimlico, St. James' Park, Westminster, Charing Cross, Waterloo, Vauxhall, Central London, Central West London, West London, London, West End, Piccadilly, Soho, Covent Garden.

My working hours are flexible so I can arrange lesson times to suit individual students.

I am happy teaching all ages; from children to adults and beginners to more advanced.
I always tailor the lesson to suit each individual.

Depending on the needs of the student, I can help with preparation for school and college exams, ABRSM graded exams and singing auditions.
