About Daniel
- What kind of experience do you have?
Since finishing my studies at the Royal Academy of Music in 2011 I have enjoyed a varied career of performing and teaching in many settings. The majority of my performance work has been as a 'doubler' for musicals in the West End, touring the UK and international venues. Away from musical theatre my experience includes classical chamber ensembles, orchestras and studio sessions on both saxophones and clarinets.
As a teacher I have had success with students working towards ABRSM grades and also learning in a more relaxed fashion for enjoyment. I have taught privately and at schools and enjoy getting to know individual students and helping them to get the most out of their instrument. I like to keep lessons relaxed and fun but with clear focus. As a freelance multi-woodwind player, I appreciate how important versatility across styles and genres is, and like to build this into lessons on top of a strong foundation in traditional notation.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
