- Hello! I'm a cellist looking to teach people of all ages and abilities. I'm based in East Didsbury and look forward to showing you how rewarding music really can be!

- I teach the cello, GCSE/A Level Music, Chamber Music, and ABRSM Graded Music Theory Exams.

- 2004: ABRSM Grade 8 Cello - Distinction
2007 - 2010: First Class BA(Hons) degree in music from Leeds College of Music (LCM)
2010 - present: MMus in Solo Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) - What kind of experience do you have?
- Teaching experience: I have taught the cello for a number of years now. I have also given many cello sectionals and coached ensembles (quartets/trios etc) over the last few years.
Performing experience: I have given many recitals, both as soloist and in a string quartet, around the UK. Notable venues include Leeds Town Hall, Manchester Town Hall, British Gas Headquarters, Worcester and Hertford College Chapels (Oxford) and The Venue (Leeds). I have recorded for BBC and record regularly for Audio Network. - How much do you charge?
- £15 for half an hour
£20 for 45 minutes
£25 for 1 hour
I offer a free 30 minute consultation lesson so you can come along and have a taster. We can also talk about your aims and decide what the best plan of action is for you. - Where do you teach?
- Ideally I would like to teach at my house. However, if necessary, I can travel to the student's house if it's not too far from my house (East Didsbury, M20 6WD).
- When are you available?
- My timetable is very flexible. I am confident I can find a time that suits us both.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- ALL ages and ALL levels are welcome!
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I can prepare my students for any exams, but the most popular choice is the ABRSM Graded Examinations. I am also able to prepare students for scholarship auditions, music college auditions and orchestral auditions.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.
