About Dean
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 12 years experience as a piano teacher to students of varying ages from 8 to 75. I currently teach for Yorkshire Young Musicians and teach privately from home. I am also an active in demand performer in various musical contexts, from small jazz groups, jazz/classical recitals and big band/theatre work. Many of my students go on to study music at University or Conservatoire level.

Hello, I am a professional jazz pianist and teacher offering lessons in jazz and classical piano. I am a regular performer across the north of England and I endeavour to help give students the skills needed to develop as an all-round performer.

Jazz piano, Classical piano and theory.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold a Associate and Licentiate diploma in piano performance.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £30 per hour, £15 for 30 minutes with free consultations.
- Where do you teach?
I prefer to teach from home but can travel within the locale for example, Sale, Altrincham, Chorlton.
- When are you available?
I have availability on weekdays and evenings excluding Friday.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students aged 8 to adult beginner to advanced.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM classical/jazz practical examinations including diploma.
LCM classical/jazz practical examinations including diploma.
ABRSM theory.
