I have had eight years' experience teaching EFL, ESOL and GCSE English Language to a wide variety of age groups and nationalities.

I am a friendly, professional and experienced tutor. I believe that the needs and aspirations of the student should lie at the heart of the learning experience and I tailor every session to meet the requirements of each individual.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach English as a Foreign Language, including IELTS preparation and I also teach ESOL (all levels). In addition, I can help with basic English language skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation and how to structure and write different types of texts.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Anthropology. In addition, I have a CELTA (Cambridge University) and a Level 5 DTLLS teaching qualification, with an ESOL subject specialism.
- How much do you charge?
I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation, to give us an opportunity to meet each other and during which the student's requirements are discussed. Thereafter I charge £22 per hour for individual students. I make an additional charge for travelling over 5 miles (round trip) from my postcode (GL4), which is dependent upon the distance actually travelled.
The charge for tutoring 2 students together is £40 per hour (£20 per student per hour).
For group lessons (3+ students), the charge is £15 per student per hour.
- Where do you teach?
I can teach in my home or travel to my students' homes. I live in Gloucester, but can also travel to Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester, and within the wider Gloucestershire area, up to a 15 mile radius of GL4.
- When are you available?
I am available:
Mon - Fri 9am - 2pm and 4pm - 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 4pm

*IELTS preparation
