About Charlie
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have a B.a, M.a both in philosophy (first class). I am CELTA qualified and have taught English at universities in South Korea, and at language colleges in London. I currently teach at International House and Kaplan International College in Covent Garden, respectively.
I have experience teaching FCE, CAE, and IELTS preparation classes. I also designed and managed a weekend writing course for 2 months at a university in South Korea, Busan. My teaching ranges from complete beginners (adults and children) to advanced level English learners.
I am proficient in jazz studies and performance and am currently working towards an M.a in music therapy. I have experience performing with solo artists and in trios in Korea and in London.

I'm a fun and friendly teacher who has taught English as a foreign language for over 4 years. I have a first class masters degree in philosophy from Kings College London and a CELTA from International House.

- How much do you charge?
EFL classes are £25 an hour for general English. FCE and CAE classes are both £30 an hour. A-level philosophy and GCSE religious studies are both £25 an hour. Undergaduate philosophy tuition is £30 an hour.

I am able to teach all over London between zones 1-2. I live in east London but traveling is not a problem for me.
