Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach violin to children and adults from beginner to advanced level. I can prepare students for ABRSM exams and I also specialise in music from the baroque period. I can teach beginner piano and general musicianship skills.

ABRSM Teaching Music Effectively 2011
LRAM Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music April 2008
PG Dip Distinction in Baroque Violin at the Royal Academy of Music July 2006
BMus (Hons) from the Royal College of Music July 2004
ABRSM Advanced Certificate Violin 1999
Violin Grades 1-8 with Distinction.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 10 years teaching experience, I currently teach at Norwich High School G.D.S.T and am a tutor for the Music House for Children, London. As a performer I freelance with many orchestras including Florilegium, The London Handel Orchestra, the Hanover Band and Charivari Agreable. I also perform as a soloist and chamber musician and am very interested in imparting my love of the history of music and historical style, and exploring the relation of music to the performing arts in general.
How much do you charge?
I charge £28 an hour. I am very happy to travel to give a lesson, but would need to charge extra for travel.
Where do you teach?
I can occasionally teach at home in Central London (nearest tube Notting Hill Gate) depending on the time of day or can travel to students' homes within London.
When are you available?
I am a freelance musician, so my timetable varies each week, but I am able to be flexible in teaching hours and can work around students' needs.
I am generally available during weekdays or evenings during the week.

I teach adults and children from beginners to advanced level.
