What kind of experience do you have?
I have previously done some tutoring on a small scale. I have extensive experience as a solo performer and as part of orchestras, chamber groups and contemporary ensembles which I believe to be beneficial to teaching not only the technical aspects of playing but also the performance aspect. I have undergone work-experience in a primary school, been a helper at Mannofield Church Sunday School and was Head Girl of Harlaw Academy (2008/9).
How much do you charge?
£25 per hour
£15 per half hour
(lesson lengths are flexible and group prices are negotiable)
Where do you teach?
I teach at my flat in Greenwich; however teaching in students' homes is negotiable for all students and essential for piano students, as I have no piano in my flat.
When are you available?
I am pretty flexible, most afternoons and evenings and weekends are negotiable.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels from absolute beginners up to advance Grade 8/diploma students, any age.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare students for ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Instrumental and music theory exams. I also help students prepare for auditions for organisations or music colleges.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I have a full up-to-date CRB check.
Where and with whom did you train?
I received flute lessons from David Nicholson from the North East School of Music and have performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland receiving tutorage from many including Sheena Gordon.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently in my third year at Trinity College of Music studying flute with Anna Noakes and Piccolo with Alan Baker.

I took part in Wil Offermans Summer Flute Course 2011 and many masterclasses including Paul-Emmanuel Davies, Margaret Campbell, Wissam Boustany and Jonathan Snowden.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am an enthusiastic and creative teacher and believe that children and adults alike can find ways to explore and express themselves through music . Music is my main love in life and I love to inspire and encourage anyone to who wishes to be part of it.
