Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Drama, Music,Dance and Musical Theatre from chidlren aged 3 years to adult . This also includes GCSE and A Level theatre Studies, Acting, LAMDA exam preparation in all subjects, Music, Piano and Music Theory tuition, Public Speaking and Interview techniques. I can help with prepartion for the 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations for interview technqiues and work on Spoken English and Public Speaking examinations for LAMDA. I can also assist with audition technique for drama school or audition preparation in Acting and Musical Theatre. Music students are entered for the ABRSM Examinations in Piano and Music theory and I can assist with preparation for Music Scholarships.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA (Hons) in Drama and Music from the University of London, PGCE (University of london), P.Cert in Applied Theatre (Central School of Speech and Drama)and LAMDA Gold Medals in Speaking of Verse and Prose, Acting and Mime.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught in schools and privately for 12 years and have worked in nursery, infant, junior and secondary schools. During this time I have also worked in theatres and run a number of school and theatre based workshops. I teach Drama and Music at primary and secondary level, teaching both GCSE and A Level Theatre Studies as well as preparing students for LAMDA examinations and drama school entry. I am also a LAMDA examiner and GCSE Drama and Theatre Studies moderator. I have extensive experience working in theatre as a director, playwright and actor as well as theatre practitioner and teacher.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30.00 per hour for all subjects, for an individual lesson. If two people share a lesson then the cost is £20.00 per student per hour. There is a 10% discount if you book two different classes (For example Speech and drama and Piano) per term. Fees are charged and invoiced termly. I also run classes for children which have a maximum of 15 students in and these are charged at £82.50 per 10 week term for a one hour lesson.
Where do you teach?
I teach in Twickenham but also have branches in Hersham and we are opening new branches in Kingston and Putney later this year. There is a train station in Twickenham which is on a Waterloo line as well as an excellent bus service. It is 24 minutes on the fast train from Waterloo and I am about a 10 mminute walk from the station. The line also goes towards Reading, Windsor, Clapham and Wimbledon.
When are you available?
I am available to teach weekday days and evenings as well as weekends. I also continue teaching throughout the school holidays and half-terms as well as running a number of workshops and summer school for Drama, Dance and Musical theatre.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
From 3 years to adult. All levels and standrads in all subjects.
Do you have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I have a fully enhanced CRB as do the otehr members of staff who work for me.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at Royal Holloway, University of London to gain my BA (Hons) and then continued my training at the Central School of Speech and Drama for my P.Cert in Applied Theatre. I am currently undertaking my MA at Central as well in Applied Theatre. I also trained in Stage Combat at the Arts Educational School and Guildford School of Acting. I studied voice under Leonora Keough and Janet Shell.
Tell me about some of your current students.
Current students have been cast on the Cbeebies and are appearing in the Spring Song. Last year a drama student appeared in a commerical for Nickolodeon. Past students have gained placements at The Globe Theatre, London and places at Webber Douglas and the Central School of Speech and Drama to study Acting, as well as Drama scholarships to schools including Priorsfield and Box Hill in Surrey.
