- Music is a gift.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach Violin and Viola (all levels) and Piano (beginners to Grade 3).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I graduated at the Royal College of Music in London -BMUS (Hons)- in violin and viola performing. After that I decided to specialize in viola performing and did my Masters at the Barenboim-Said Academy in Seville, Spain.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching young children for more than 5 year. My lessons are fun including playing songs, learning music theory and music games in the same lesson. I am specialized in children pedagogy ( 4 years onwards), but I can also teach adults.
- How much do you charge?
- My fees INCLUDE travel expenses. I charge £35 for 1 hour lesson or £25 for 35 minutes lesson.
First lesson is HALF PRICE! - Where do you teach?
- Lessons would have to be at the student's place as I don't have a teaching studio yet.
I am based in Golders Green so any area near that I would be very convenient to travel: Golders Green, Finchley Road, North Finchley, Brent Cross, Cricklewood, Kilburn, Hampstead, Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Swiss Cottage..etc
I would be happy to travel also to CENTRAL LONDON: St. John's Wood, Bond Street, Euston...etc
ONLY place around South East would be Waterloo. - When are you available?
- My timetable varies so I can be quite flexible around the student's availability.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Specialized in children from 4 years old onwards.
Also can teach adults.
All levels for violin and viola
Beginners to Grade 3 for piano. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I am happy to prepare for ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall exam boards depending on the skills of the student.
Also happy to continue to work independently without the exam system. - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes, in the process of obtaining.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- In my time at the Royal College of Music I studied with Andreiy Viytovych ( Principal viola at the Royal Opera House in London), Natasha Boyarskya (Yehudi Menuhin School), Yuri Zhislin and Suzie Meszaros.
In my Masters at the Barenboim Academy I worked with Julia Deyneka and Volker Sprenger (Principal and Co-principal viola at Staatskapelle in Berlin).
Other teachers outside my academic years were Paul Cortese and Vincent Fillantreau. - Do you have a personal message for students?
- Music is a gift.

Mozart Effect
I would encourage everyone and specially all parents to research about the so-called Mozart Effect, and all the benefits that classical music has for our brain and learning skills.
