October 2013 - to date Director and MD at Charisma Performing Arts School.

Liaising with parents. For permissions, accounts and progress reports.
Leading holiday workshops on particular musicals.
Coordinating all shows and competitions –
Liaising with theatres, setting up lighting and sound plans, organising/making costumes and props. Creating innovative scripts and show piece content. Staging musical pieces and ensuring the smooth running of proceedings on performance days.
Leading Performance Workshops – teaching all levels of singers the importance and how to perform their songs.
Leading Glee Club – This is an advanced competition group of singers that are grade 8 – diploma level. My role would be teaching intricate vocal harmonies and working with my dance teacher to achieve a high standard of performance

Teaching 1 to 1 lessons – Working on musicality, performance and vocal flexibility. Most students were entered into exams either Trinity, ABRSM and LCM exam boards. (grade 1 – diploma) Being flexible with student's needs and vocal genre to enter them into exams that suited their talents and style. Working with them to produce GCSE/AS/A2 compositions and performances. Also teaching grade 5 theory.
Choirs and Glee Clubs – I was responsible for putting together suitable repertoire for performances and weekly sessions. This repertoire included a range of styles classical, musical theatre, pop and jazz. I would accompany students to competitions and performances. One group won the North London Music Festival Glee club competition. When working with glee clubs I would also choreograph and stage performance repertoire.

Workshop Leading - Most terms I would be asked to lead an inter-school vocal workshop with about 200 students from different schools and backgrounds. This would include vocal warm-ups, introductions to singing, presentations, mass group songs and a performance at the end of the session.

Music Tours Abroad – Acting as a Chaperone, choir leader and accompanist for Music tours.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

My current students are of all different age groups. The majority of them are Grade 8/diploma singing students. In our lessons I help them with exam, audition, competition work and also compositions and performances for GCSE's and A levels. I am also teaching 4 Piano students who range from learning difficulties beginners to around grade 4/5.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

For the past 10 years I have been teaching Singing from beginner level to advanced and I teach a range of genres below;
Musical Theatre (LCM Exam work if required)
Pop, Soul and Jazz (Rock School exam work)
Classical (ABRSM and Trinity exam work)

In terms of piano lessons I teach beginners to grade 5 level ABRSM/Trinity exam work. Classical, and pop/musical theatre

- How much do you charge?

I charge £50 per hour for singing lessons and £40 per hour for piano lessons, I don't charge extra for travel.

- Where do you teach?

From November 2015 I will be offering lessons from my home in Chigwell/Loughton area
I travel all across central, east and north London.

- When are you available?

I am available all week and weekends.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach 4 year olds to 100 year olds. I have lots of experience teaching children and adults, and I have child protection training.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I prepare singing students for grade 1 - diploma in LCM Musical theatre exams, ABRSM Classical Singing Exams, Trinity Singing exams and Rock School Singing exams. I prepare piano students for Grade 1 - 5 in either trinity or ABRSM exams. I have also worked with students on their ABRSM grade 5 theory exams.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

This is a service I haven't yet set up but I will do in the coming months.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I am a dedicated and efficient teacher who encourages new challenges each lesson, builds confidence and is open to all levels as long as they endeavor to do their own personal best work.
