About Sarah
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have varied experience of teaching languages, both to the very young and the more mature! I have experience of teaching at secondary school level, preparing students for GCSE and A level exams. I particularly enjoy working with small groups of mature students who are looking to pursue their French or German for pleasure, gaining all the social benefits that language learning brings, such as maintaining IQ, widening horizons and increased enjoyment of travel abroad.

Friendly, down to earth French, German, Spanish and EFL tutor. I am particularly good with children and enjoy teaching retirees and home educated pupils during the week.

I have a PGCE (secondary), MA and BA Hons in foreign languages. After a career break I have recently completed the SKE course (French). Institute of Education, London.

All my individual tutoring is charged at £25 per session.
- Where do you teach?
At home in Chessington, Surrey.
- When are you available?
Weekdays 9am-3pm and 4-9pm.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages from pre-schoolers through to retirees.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare my students for all school language exam levels. My mature students are also able to pursue qualifications, though most of them are studying languages with me for pleasure.
