About Jeremy
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have played professionally in the United States Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps in Washington DC along with various orchestral musical organizations throughout the world. I have played in many different styled groups throughout college and have gained a wealth of musical knowledge.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
No.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I studied with Dr. Kevin Sanders at the University of Memphis for my Bachelor's degree.
I studied with Lee Tsarmaklis (London Philharmonic Orchestra) and Pete Smith (Philharmonia Orchestra) at the Royal College of Music for my Master's degree.
During my undergraduate, I was able to spend a year in Salzburg Austria studying with Joeseph Steinbock of the Mozarteum Orchestra.

I am a graduate from the Royal College of Music with a master's degree in music performance. My main instrument is the Tuba but I have experience teaching each of the brass instruments.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Brass instruments
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Master's degree in Music performance and have taught many privates lessons to a variety of brass instruments throughout the six years of college.
- How much do you charge?
For all instruments except Tuba, the fee is £30 per hour and Tuba is £40 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
All teaching would be conducted at the students home. I am currently in Sutton (between Sutton and Carshalton Beeches) and would be willing to travel to surroundings areas.
- When are you available?
As of this time, I am available all times and any days of the week and during any holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Any age and any level from 1-6 for all brass except Tuba
Any age and any level from 1-8 for Tuba
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can help students improve on their instrument and improve musicianship to help the performance of the student overall.
