About Jo
- What kind of experience do you have?
I was Head of English for many years. In the last ten years I've been running a nationwide teacher training programme.

I have an enhanced DBS check.

Some of my students are home schooled for various reasons; others have been diagnosed with various "disorders". Most have been completely underachieving.

I'm a highly experienced teacher with over 30 years' experience. I love teaching and it is my passion. I am particularly interested in students who are disinterested, or disaffected, or who otherwise have had a difficult time in school.

I can offer English and Psychology, though I'm open to most other subjects!

M Ed (University of Nottingham). B Ed (Hons) and Cert Ed (University of Bangor).
- How much do you charge?
£30, including travel and preparation time and any other extras.
- Where do you teach?
I come to the students. Generally they feel more comfortable with this. I am happy to travel 15 miles from my location in Northamptonshire.
- When are you available?
I am available during weekdays, evenings and school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
14 upwards.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE, iGCSE, AS and A Level. I can also offer Functional Skills and Study Skills.
