Bmus(Hons) Distinction - University of Macedonia (Greece) - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching around London for the last 6 years in music schools, workshops and privately. During these years I have taught students of various ages and abilities. In lessons, I put strong emphasis on artistic interpretation, effective learning/practice strategies, memorization skills, posture, sight-reading, music fundamentals/theory and ear training. I also like to incorporate folk, popular and traditional music in the curriculum so to match each student’s needs and interests.
My performance experience includes solo recitals in the United Kingdom, Greece and Cyprus. I am also a very active chamber musician and I enjoy collaborating with artists across different art forms including dancers, storytellers and actors. - How much do you charge?
- For piano lessons I charge:
£30 for 1 hour lesson
£25 for 45 minutes lesson
£20 for 30 minutes lesson
In the case of traveling at students' homes, I will charge for travel expenses. - Where do you teach?
- I teach at home at New Cross Gate, Telegraph Hill SE14 although I'm happy to travel at student's homes.
- When are you available?
- I'm available every day except Saturdays.
Times are negotiable. - Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I have experience of teaching children from the age of 4 through to adults and have the knowledge of basic/advanced piano techniques.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- ABRSM exams, Trinity Guildhall Graded Exams, auditions, competitions and university exams.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- CRB checked.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I studied in Greece at the University of Macedonia with Milena Mollova and in London with Yonty Solomon and Douglas Finch at Trinity College of Music.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I aim to tailor my lessons to suit the individual needs of each student whether that refers to grades, technical development, general musicality or just for fun! I aim to create an enjoyable environment for their progression.

Why I Became a Tutor?
I have always felt uplifted by passing on any knowledge that I have to pianists learning the instrument. I enjoy the process of helping somebody progress over time and noticing the pleasure and confidence this improvement brings them.
