Do you have a personal message for students?
I have a positive and inspiring teaching style that ensures my pupils develop good technique and aural skills, but never at the expense of enjoyment. Lessons are tailored to pupils’ needs, whether graded exam preparation or just for fun. For younger pupils I have lots of music games to keep them interested!

Aside from teaching, I play with a variety of orchestras (such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, CBSO Youth Orchestra and Orpheus Sinfonia) and chamber music groups. I am very passionate about music and enjoy passing on my passion and expertise to aspiring young musicians and amateurs alike. I have studied with, and shadowed, some of the best brass teachers around and I have taken a great interest in researching different approaches to teaching.
