About Tania
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a university lecturer and currently teach law at two prestigious Russell group Universities in the UK. I am the youngest law lecturer across both departments and hold the position of module leader teaching and examining at both undergraduate LLB and postgraduate LLM masters level. I obtained a 1st class award for my undergraduate law and literature dissertation and at A-level A* grades in English Literature and Language at GCSE & A-Level and have been tutoring students in these subjects with great success to date. My personal academic achievements and expertise means that I am very well positioned for supporting students' academic progress and helping them achieve excellent results and able to work closely with students and provide them with unique tailored tutoring and advice.
My technique to teaching is to make it easy to understand concepts in Law and English. I mainly focus on exam techniques which I have noticed helps students became more confident. This includes, past examination papers, A* & top grade model answers, focusing on technique and skills to help students achieve the grades possible. Above all I am friendly, patient and passionate about what I do. I seek to inspire and encourage my students to achieving their full potential and giving them the tools they need to do well. I am passionate about the subjects that I teach and I ensure each session is planned beforehand, so that time can be used as efficiently as possible using a personalized and result orientated approach in the process.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I offer online remote classes. if it is more convenient remote tutoring lessons and coursework support are available as online sessions via Skype; this has been particularly useful for students studying at various universities in the UK with location issues and international students based abroad. All online sessions are structured in the same was as face to face tutoring all that is required is connection to the internet connection, Skype and access to an email. If this option is more suitable than get in touch.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
It's extremely important for students to feel in control of their grades especially doing a law degree, which can be so text and case heavy. It goes without saying that law degrees can be intense. The key to successfully getting through your law degree and achieving good grades in the exams is a combination of mastery of course material coupled with knowing the right information to include in order to present your knowledge to an examiner effectively in an exam. Understanding is key to navigating your way through the topics coupled with structured practice and development of knowledge. Exams are not there to trick you, but your opportunity to show the examiners how much you know and what you know. Practice your writing style. Work with a tutor. Make it easier for yourself in the exams. In my view, having marked undergraduate, postgraduate and college papers, getting a first class grade in the exams or coursework often can be more to do with time management, technique and the correct application of knowledge than capability. Also, especially at degree level know yourself. If your find that your better at coursework's, then opt for coursework modules. Exams really are about being strategic, know where you need help, and seek it out. The industry is competitive, so get ahead, and don't think twice about the getting the support you need.
