About Linda
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught Biology successfully at GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A level for 20 years, and A level Psychology for 10 years. I have recent experience in public examination marking. As a former Head of Careers, I am able to advice on subject choices at each transition stage, and have considerable expertise in assisting pupils with university applications, including the most competitive courses and universities.

I have 20 year's teaching experience, preparing pupils successfully for public examinations and taking account of your preferred learning style to optimise achievement.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Biology at GCSE, IGCSE and AS and A level. I am also experienced in teaching AS and A level Psychology
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BSc (1st Hons) in Physiology; a PhD in Physiology and a PGCE in Secondary Science. In addition, I am an accredited Morrisby Psychometric profiler and have over 10 years experience in Careers information, advice and guidance.
- How much do you charge?
My charges are £30.00 per hour for GCSE and IGCSE and £35.00 per hour for AS and A level.
Any additional services are by negotiation.
Travel to a tutee's home incurs an additional fee of £5.00 per session.
Tuition in a group of two to four tutees is charged at £20.00 per hour per tutee for GCSE/IGCSE and £25.00 per hour per tutee for AS and A level
- Where do you teach?
Tutoring is normally carried out at my home. Tutoring is offered at students' homes within a 15 mile radius of Bedford.
- When are you available?
Tutoring is offered on Monday to Thursday between 3.30 and 7.30pm. Tutoring outside these times is available by negotiation, especially in school holidays or in the pre-examination period.

I teach ages 14-19 at GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A level.

Preparation for GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A level examinations is offered
