For six years I have taught 5-7 year olds for a month every summer on the music courses ‘Music Makers’. On these courses I teach singing, take recorder and string sectionals, rehearse and conduct up to 35 children, play musical games and introduce music to young children in a fun and enjoyable way.
At the Purcell School, I was very involved in the schools award-winning Outreach programme, organising and leading music-based workshops, concerts and assemblies, for children from the ages of 5-18 in many schools throughout the UK.

At the age of 11 I gained a scholarship to study at the Purcell School of Music, where I stayed for seven years. During my time at the Purcell School I had weekly one-on-one lessons on the cello, trumpet, singing and piano, and class lessons in Music History, Aural, Harmony and theory, as well as an all-round education. I was involved in the schools orchestras, choirs, jazz groups and chamber groups. I was also a member of the National Children’s Orchestra for two years.

I am currently studying the cello at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Alexander Baillie.
