Creative Writing Course (Cork) - Tell me about some of your current students.
- I teach ESOL in two adult groups, with students coming from different countries and of all walks of life. I managed to establish good friendly working relationships with them. Being a non-native speaker gives me the advantage of thorough understanding of the learners' linguistic needs, and the ability to explain the most difficult grammar rules in an easy way.
I also taught a short course of Russian to Year 12 students, and most of them enjoyed it. - Do you have a personal message for students?
- Language learning must be fun. It is fun.
I am a teacher who enjoys teaching, and has lots of interesting authentic materials.

Interdependence of oral and written skills
Interdependence of speaking, listening, reading and writing “It is common place to see a remarkable special effect on a television screen by exclaiming: “How did they do that?” It is not quite so usual to exclaim when we observe someone speaking, listening, reading, writing, or signing. And yet if anything is worthy of exclamation, it...

My Testimonials
|
As a busy professional learning Russian, I'm aware what a difference having a good teacher can make. I consider myself very fortunate to be learning with Ludmila. She is enthusiastic and patient, and I find her teaching style very productive. I particularly value the way in which she has understood how I tend to learn best and has adapted her teaching material accordingly. Learning with Ludmila is a pleasure, not a self-imposed chore, and I wholeheartedly recommend her as a Russian tutor. - Jonathan |
