What kind of experience do you have?
I am a trained actress with professional experience in theatre, television, film and voice-overs. I have worked at most of the major theatres in Scotland and played two summer seasons in California playing roles such as Celia in ‘As you Like It’. Screen work includes the feature film ‘The Inbetweeners’ and ‘2000 Acres of Skye’ for the BBC. Please see my website for a full CV and further information i.e. showreel, reviews and biography. I held a post at Uxbridge College where I taught a weekly drama class for building confidence and comminication skills. I regularly teach private sessions to prepare students for auditions and I have done many freelance workshops in various schools using Forum Theatre to explore relevant issues such as bullying and racism.

How much do you charge?
£35 per hour although I will consider a reduced rate for low waged, students or the unemployed.

Where do you teach?
All areas of London i.e. Central London (WC), West London, North London, South London and East London.
Ideally West London i.e. Notting Hill, Holland Park, Kensington, Ladbroke Grove, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush.
Usually I travel to clients homes, work from my home or hire a venue in Central London.

Yes, I am CRB checked.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I find it most effective to incorporate body and voice techniques to assist both the actor and the general public with developing more confidence and stage presence whether it is for a professional performance, interview preparation, delivering presentations in business or developing better communication and confidence skills in order to live a more happy and fulfilled life. I am experienced with coaching for auditions, researching a role and being able to transform oneself to become that character.

Student Testimonials
Lynn worked with me to help me prepare for a drama bursary to my next school. We started off by choosing an audition speech, which Lynn helped me with and we came to the right decision. Lynn then taught me some relaxation techniques which I used to help calm my nerves. Lynn also worked with body language, facial expressions and movement, which made the piece come more naturally and made it more effective. By the end of our sessions, I was ready and I managed to get the bursary, it was a success. - Josh Bloom (13 year old actor / winner of drama bursary)
