About Rebecca
- What kind of experience do you have?
Before teaching in a classroom, I taught scuba diving and marine biology to both undergraduates and postgraduates in a number of places around the world, including Madagascar.
As a science teacher, I have taught at a wide variety of schools in and around Oxford, including the Oxford Academy and St Edwards' School.

I am a qualified teacher who has recently taken a sabbatical to do a MSc. I have been teaching and tutoring for many years, in a wide variety of schools.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Biology is my specialty, and I teach it at A Level and IB,
Chemistry, Physics AQA GCSE and CE,
Maths I teach to CE.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
BSc in Ecology from Durham University.
PGCE from Oxford Brookes University.
- How much do you charge?
£35 per hour.
Group fees can be arranged.
Travel time charged at £25 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
From my house in North Oxford, OX2 7QF. Easy to get to from Kidlington, Reading, Wolvercote.
Be aware my pythons live in my office. They are not dangerous, but just for any people with major a phobia.

I can be flexible as I am studying an MSc.

11-18 years and adults.

For online tutoring, I use skype.

Whether you are struggling with motivation, understanding a concept or exam technique, I'm the tutor for you! I have taught in a wide variety of environments, from a failing school to a top private school, from a classroom to underwater. If there is something that you do not understand, we will find a way to make it simple for you.
