About Meg Ella
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked with children from 5-18 as well as introducing instruments to more mature students.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I am perfectly happy to acquire one if necessary.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I am currently in the third year of a BMus Hons Performance degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Am currently under the tutorship of acclaimed cellist Naomi Butterworth and Jazz singer Trudy Kerr.

I am looking to teach enthusiastic beginners of any age hoping to learn through enjoyable and developmental means.

I teach Cello and Vocal lessons.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Grade 8 Distinction in both cello and vocals.
Grade 8 piano standard.
Grade 5 Music Theory.

- How much do you charge?
I charge £25 per hour, £15 per half hour (excluding travel cost). Prices for more than one pupil negotiable.
- Where do you teach?
I teach in my own home but am also happy to travel.
- When are you available?

I am happy to teach enthusiastic beginners and early stage instrumentalists of any age.
