About NADIA
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am an English Teacher with over 5 years experience working as an ESL/EFL Teacher in Brazil, Thailand and the United Kingdom. I have taught all kinds of people from different cultures and of all ages, in groups and in a one-to-one environment. I have also developed my own courses and tailored the curricula to suit. My passion for teaching comes from my fascination with words and languages, which I have had since an early age. I also have some experience of working with students that have Dyslexia or Dyspraxia and can tailor my lessons specifically to make learning fun in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
I gain great satisfaction from teaching and the challenges that each individual student brings. I pride myself on being able to help improve my students' understanding of the English language. Whilst teaching, I aim to instill confidence in my students with a fun and understanding attitude.

I am a fully qualified native English teacher who has taught people from different cultures and of all ages. I enjoy teaching English in a fun and informative way.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I can help with English exam preparation for KS1 (lower primary) and KS2 (upper primary) students, as well as improving your general English and literacy skills. I also teach English as a Foreign Language, and I have some experience of teaching Medical English and Business English to non-native English speakers.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have completed a TEFL Qualification, which is certified by the International TEFL Training Organization and have 5 years of teaching experience to support that. I also have an M.A. in Business Studies.
- How much do you charge?
The first introductory lesson is free. Individual lessons are £30 per hour (one-to-one).
Discounts are available for block bookings (Please ask me if you would like more information).
Lessons for small groups of 2-5 students are also available (Please ask for more information).
- Where do you teach?
I can teach from my home or from the student's home, depending on what is more convenient. I live in Bristol, Avon and am willing to travel within the Bristol area.
- When are you available?
I am available to teach Mondays - Fridays and some Saturdays. Please contact me to discuss lesson times.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I have experience of working with all age groups, from Kindergarten to College. I also have experience of working with all levels of students from Beginner to Advanced.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare you for English SATs tests and can also provide assistance with GSCE Level English. I can also help foreign students to prepare for the IELTS and TOEFL tests and some Cambridge examinations such as FCE.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I can provide online tutoring for proof-reading and for foreign students only. If you require assistance with this you will need a computer with internet access, a headset with microphone and also a Skype account which is free to set up. Please contact me for more information.
