About Nicolae
- What kind of experience do you have?
In the 15 years of experience that I have , I managed to play the piano at the highest level winning national and international awards and also doing tours in Europe with solo and orchestral performances.
I started teaching 4 years ago when I came to London and I want to say that I love it as much as I love playing the piano. I try my best to transmit the same passion and pleasure to my students, to get them to see the beauty that you can get out from Music but in the same time, I find ways to improve my students understanding, memory , technique and focus.
Music Theory gives students headaches all the time but I managed to find a way to get from grade 1 Theory to grade 5 Theory in one year with great results , one of my students achieving high distinction at the Grade 5 Theory exam. Thinking that last year she was struggling with grade 1 exercises, I consider this a great and fast result.
I have students that I teach for more then 3 years, achieving great results at ABRSM grades or just doing piano for pleasure, I am pretty sure I found a good and efficient way to get the most out of my student's potential and in the same time getting them to enjoy playing.

I teach piano and all theoretical subjects related to music.

I just finished my BMus degree in Music at Guildhall School of Music and Drama , one of the top Music Colleges in the UK and will start from September this year to continue my studies trying to obtain the Master in Performance Diploma, at the same institution, where I was offered a place with scholarship.
- How much do you charge?
My price for a 60 min. piano lesson is £ 30

Here you have three choices : - you can choose to take the lesson in the comfort of you own home or
- come to take the lesson in a music school based in Moorgate ( GRAND PIANO ) or
- piano lesson at my home located in Tottenham N17 ( ELECTRIC KEYBOARD )

As music doesn't have age, I can teach from children to adults, from 6 to 99 years old, from beginner to professional.
