About Lorraine
- What kind of experience do you have?
I currently teach at the Primary Royal Academy of Music. Prior to my two years in Germany, I privately tutored students from different ages through ABRSM exams, GCSE and A level music. During my time in Germany, I regularly led music appreciation workshops for large groups of children from age 4 till 10.
I am a flexible teacher and I understand that every student may require a different approach.

Yes.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I have studied with Emanuel Abbühl, Tess Miller, Celia Nicklin, Melanie Ragge and Jill Crowther. I have had masterclasses with Maurice Bourge, Thomas Indermühle, Jaques Tys and Jonathan Kelly.

I am a dedicated and passionate oboist with a zest for teaching and performance. I will always give a 100% and love helping others discover their love for music and oboe playing. I currently teach at the Primary Royal Academy of Music.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the oboe, cor anglais, recorder and reed making from beginner upwards to anyone of any age.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I am currently a final year student at the Royal Academy of Music. I have just spent 2 years studying at the Mannheim Music Hochschule in Germany with Professor Emanuel Abbühl.
- How much do you charge?
One hour: £25
- Where do you teach?
I am based in Islington or Marylebone however I can travel to anywhere in London.
- When are you available?
I can teach any day of the week and will try to fit in with your schedule.
