About Pamela
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over a decade of teaching experience in all disciplines of biology in a variety of environments. I am also confident and experienced in teaching children with additional support needs. I have spent my career engaging pupils, teaching enthusiastically and preparing young people for exams. I make biology relevant and fun for my students and I adapt my teaching style to suit the learner. I have a proven track record of success and am confident I can positively impact the students I work with.

I quickly identify strengths and areas for development. I am an experienced teacher and quickly develop rapport with students, helping to build confidence and improve understanding. I am confident that I will be able to help you pass biology.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach National 5 and Higher Biology.
As a classroom teacher, I have intimate knowledge of all biology courses and the subsequent exams. I have been a marker for the SQA in both N5 and Higher.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
BSc in Zoology (Hons) from University of Glasgow. PGDE Secondary (Biology with Science).
- How much do you charge?
I charge £40 per hour with no additional fees for travel.
- Where do you teach?
I am based in the west end of Glasgow and can travel anywhere within a few miles.
- When are you available?
I have flexible availability (evenings and weekends) and I will discuss with clients on contact.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students aged 11 and above with a focus on N5 and higher biology courses.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
National 5 Biology

Biology is the study of the world around you and inside you and it involves everything from the smallest cell to the planet as a whole. Many jobs, which don't even exist yet, will revolve around the sciences and there are many careers leading from the study of biology.
