About Duncan
- What kind of experience do you have?
I perform professionally at regular intervals and can offer fantastic insight into the world of music and performance. I am a professional performer, singing and playing for audiences across the UK and Europe, often to thousands at a time. However for the majority of the year I teach children and adults and enjoy it thoroughly. I have been vocal coach for ITV Productions and regularly coach West End performers. I have been teaching for several years and have given confidence and new skills through music and performance, to hundreds of people young and old.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I personally have a recent enhanced CRB disclosure and currently teach over 200 children a week.

Hi, I'm Duncan. I provide fun, relaxed and quality music tuition to you at home, throughout London and The Home Counties. I offer a free trial to all new pupils.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Piano, Singing, Keyboard, Guitar. All available as home visit sessions. I also give acting coaching, performance coaching, drama school preparation and audition technique.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
My background is MA in Musical Theatre, Mountview Academy of Performing Arts, London. BA (Hons) in Music Theatre, Classification 2:1, University of Leeds. Keyboard Grade 8
- How much do you charge?
The first session is a free trial! Try it and see how you like it. I offer 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 1 hour lessons. I travel to you for £22 (30 minutes) and £36 (60 minutes). Reduced rates are offered if you are very local. No extra childcare, no petrol, no effort - let me come to you. All details can be found on the Winchmore Hill Music website.
- Where do you teach?
I teach anywhere in London and across the surrounding counties.
- When are you available?
Due to high demand, I have limited availability during the weekend but do have two or three slots available on week days after school and work if you wanted a free trial with me. I will endeavour to arrange all the time you need for a session with me.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
AI am highly experienced with children and hold an enhanced CRB disclosure. I teach children to adults, beginners to advanced levels. Get in touch for more details on grades and session content.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Students can prepare for grades for all instruments I teach. I have a 100% pass rate!!
