My name is Bryony Keyse, and I am a classically trained, London based pianist and an enthusiastic, creative and experienced teacher.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Classical Piano, Singing and Music Theory.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
My Music qualifications include a BMus Hons GSMD and DipABRSM - both in Classical Piano. I also have Grade 8 Theory, A* at A level and GCSE Music.
- How much do you charge?
My rate is £35 an hour. Lessons can be either 1 hour or 30 minutes in duration. I suggest a free meeting before lessons commence in order to discuss personal goals or aspirations to be achieved through piano lessons. Alternatively, a paid consultation lesson is also recommended.
- Where do you teach?
I am available to teach all over London, especially within Central Zones. I travel to further locations with an extra charge for travel.
- When are you available?
I am available for regular lessons throughout most of the year, with the exception of public holidays. In some circumstances I may be required to be out of London for work/performing opportunities, however I always notify my pupils well in advance and try and arrange an alternative date for our lesson.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages an abilities. I mostly specialise in teaching from grade 3 upwards to advanced Diploma level - however I thoroughly enjoy teaching beginners too. All levels welcome!
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
It is entirely dependent on the students wishes - Piano and theory grades can be used as goals, but I also encourage teaching the piano for the sake of enjoyment.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
No matter whether you are just starting to learn the piano, or rekindling an old hobby - give it a try! Nobody has ever regretted being able to play the piano and it can bring so much enjoyment. I can help you progress in any musical genre that you wish so that you can achieve all of your musical goals.
