- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach French and German at all levels i.e. all Key Stages, GCSE and A level. I also offer tuition in French and German for recreational purposes i.e. for holidays, fun, further interest.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a first degree in Modern Languages (French and German with Spanish), and a Master's degree in Modern Languages - my MA is in French Language and Culture. I also have a qualification in teaching languages to adults from Goldsmith's University.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- Since 1998, have taught a number of students in French and German preparing for both GCSEs and A levels in French and German. I have also taught adults looking to learn a lanuage for recreational purposes. I have also lived and worked abroad in mainland Europe which has enabled me to become fluent in the languages I teach. I have been tutoring for ten years with students from all backgrounds and at all levels.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £25 p/h for lessons in French and German. I am happy to meet with prospective pupils for a free consultation to talk through needs, interests and goals and how we would work together to meet all of them.
- Where do you teach?
- I can teach at the student's home or in a cafe or other place nearby. I am flexible and prepared to travel in and around the are i.e. New Cross, Bromley, Forest Hill, Southwark, Clapham and Wandsworth. I can also travel around Stourbridge and within Worcestershire in the West Midlands.
- When are you available?
- I am available in the evenings and weekends. I am very flexible and although currently very busy, I would be happy to allocate time for someone willing to learn!
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Children from 11 years old, teenagers and adults. Beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- 11+ exams, 13+ exams, GCSE and A Levels
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes

- I can support tuition through Skype.

- No.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I completed a professional teaching diploma at Goldsmith's University, including teaching practice with both adults and in schools. I completed my Master's degree at the University of Southampton.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I am currently tutoring three students who are working towards GCSE German and an adult lady in French - she has a GCSE in the subject and wants to refresh and reinforce the knowledge gained through the GCSE. I am also teaching A Level French and 13+ Common Entrance Exam level in French. A recent AS level student has just gained an A in her French exam!
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I would love to share my knowledge and passion for learning languages with you. Whatever your level, I would like to show you the many different and fun ways you can learn a language: through radio, meeting new people, DVDs, CDs and games for just a start! Moroever, I know from my own experience, that learning a language enhances both your professional and personal life - it enables you to travel and appreciate another culture in a more fulfilling way.
