I'm an enthusiastic & experienced teacher, having taught all ages and standards over the last decade. I currently enjoy teaching all brass instruments at several South London schools alongside my private tuition.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach all brass instruments & can guide students through ABRSM & Trinity Guildhall, jazz & classical examinations. I am experienced in teaching all genres & styles to all ages and standards. I've taught a range of students - from those taking Grade 8, adults who want to start learning & children as young as 6.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music, completing my BMus & Masters degrees there with the help of the Sir Philip Shelbourne Award for Brass, the Amarylis Fleming Scholarship Fund & the Newcomen Collett Foundation.

- How much do you charge?

I charge:
£20 for 30mins
£40 for 1hr
I don't charge for travel unless the distance is considerable.

- Where do you teach?

I am currently based in Wandsworth (SW18), but I'm happy to travel to nearby postcodes in South London. I teach from my home studio, travel to students' houses (when convenient), and can also teach online.

- When are you available?

I am very flexible as my work is freelance. The easiest thing to do is get in touch and we can either organise a regular slot, or arrange lesson times on a week by week basis.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

All ages (I have taught everyone from ages 6 - 66).
All standards (I have taught complete beginners with no musical experience at all, to those who are preparing for higher education, music scholarships & a professional career).

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I have prepared students for success in ABRSM & Trinity Guildhall examinations, both classical and jazz, from Grade 1-8. I have also helped students prepare for higher education auditions & GCSE & A Level performances.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I can teach online using either Skype or FaceTime. I have a reliable internet connection & have used my equipment to provide live recording sessions with clients abroad from my home studio.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I feel strongly that lessons should be be fun & inspiring! Everyone that I've taught has been unique, and I look forward to helping you work out what is best for you as you start or continue through your journey of musical enrichment!
