About Daisy
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching music for almost a decade both privately and with various organisations/schools. I was a member of Vocaltutor online singing teacher site and taught pupils through them for two years. I now teach regularly at the World Heart Beat Music Academy in Southfields and mentor students who have received scholarships from Gucci and the Grammys involving concerts in London (with Emeli Sande) and Italy. I teach workshops and lead choirs as well as teaching privately.
I have a lot of experience touring internationally and singing/writing as a recording artist signed to Universal releasing three albums. Two albums were nominated for Classical Brit Awards and sold over half a million, reaching Platinum status. I sing and play guitar, banjo and ukulele in a new band called three and me who have just released their first EP and music video.
In addition to my singing and teaching experience, I have professional experience in composing and arranging, in particular working on film scores for Abbey Road recordings as a copyist and orchestrator. I also currently book session singers for film sessions and for bands, including Kasabian.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes I have an Enhanced CRB Certificate - as a teacher of young children it is required that I do.
- Where and with whom did you train?
Whilst at King's College I studied Classical Voice at Royal Academy of Music
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Musicians Union, PRS, World Heart Beat Music Academy

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I prefer face-to-face contact, but can offer Skype lessons and answer questions and help via email if necessary.
I can mark practice papers for music theory tests, or listen to a recording you've made to critique it. This would only be as a supplement to face-to-face learning for singing pupils, but for other tuition we can discuss the possibilities of online learning.
