Matthew - Ealing Common - Piano

Matthew is an ideal teacher. He is very patient and identifies any weaknesses quickly and has systematically assisted to improve our son's singing. Matt has assisted with Andrew's piano playing when he practices accompanying himself when singing. We have found Matt to be very courteous and reliable and a talented singer himself. I would have no hesitation to recommend his as a conscientious singing teacher.

I was returning to singing after many years and was apprehensive about taking it up again. Matt turned my concern into out and out pleasure. From the moment we started working together he was both inspiring and informative. His understanding of technique is superb and his teaching method is incredibly clear and thorough. Through all this he also just fun to work with.

Thoughtful in his approach to teaching, Matt always has a wealth of analogies to help me understand and unlock different parts of the voice. His comprehensive knowledge of the physical mechanics of the voice inspires me to better understand the science behind the voice, which in turn complements his points on technique. His warm and friendly demeanour also helps make lessons a fun and worthwhile learning experience.
