About Diyanath
- What kind of experience do you have?
I worked as a Part Time Lecturer in Statistics and Econometrics at Bournemouth University from 2013-2015. Since then I have been employed full time as a Lecturer in Quantitative Methods at the Fashion Business School at University of the Arts London. I specialise in teaching students how to collect and analyse quantitative data using the relevant descriptive statistics, perform hypothesis testing and build models with predictive capabilities. I have also supervised 4 MSc. dissertation students successfully to date. Currently I am tasked with supervising the statistics components of all MSc. dissertations at my place of employment.

- Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold a BSc. in Economics and Actuarial Science (2011) and MSc. in Risk Management (2012) from the University of Southampton. Recently, I completed my PhD. in Statistics (2016) from Bournemouth University.
- How much do you charge?
My charges are noted above - however I am happy to consider reduced prices for teaching in groups or for those who sign up for weekly sessions for example. In addition, depending on the statistical issue you are faced with, I am happy to set a plan in consultation with you to ensure that you get the best service at an economical price.
- Where do you teach?
If you live in Southend on Sea, Thorpe Bay or Westcliff On Sea I will be happy to visit the students' homes. Alternatively, you may visit my place. I am willing to travel up to London (and any locations in between), however these will need to be planned with my visits to London so that I can offer you services without having to charge you extra for travel!
- When are you available?
I can be very flexible so should you be interested, please get in touch and we can figure out a time which works best for both of us.

GCSE, Advanced Level, University and MBA.

- Do you have a personal message for students?
I used to hate statistics when I was doing my A-Levels. I continued to hate it during my Bachelors and Masters as well. However, it was during my PhD that I actually started to understand the basics and I was fortunate to have an amazing supervisor who taught me everything in a way that was easy to understand. Today, I take pride in sharing my knowledge with my students and most importantly giving them a good foundation in statistics such that they learn to love the subject and are equipped to exploit it to their advantage. If you think its tough, I will show you that its not that bad at all! Don't give up!
